Two of my favorite spots to picnic in Paris are located along the Seine River.
One is in Île Saint-Louis. Just climb down one of the many stairways leading to the Seine, find a bench, and savor being a Parisian for a day.
Another popular spot is at the end of Ile de la Cité, called Square du Vert Galant.
It is a small triangular park about a 5-minute walk away from the Notre Dame Cathedral.

Parc des Buttes-Chaumon
Escape the urban clamor and venture to Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, an enchanting hilly park in the 19th arrondissement.
The park’s rugged cliffs, meandering paths, and charming suspension bridges offer a unique sanctuary to Parisians needing a break.

Check this Paris Tourism website for the most up-to-date information so you can plan your visit accordingly to save on admission fees.
For example, the Louvre is free for all visitors on the first Friday of the month after 6 p.m. (except in July and August) and on July 14th.
It is also free for guests 26 years of age or under if they can provide proof of residency in the European Union.
Other notable museums that offer free entry include Musée Rodin, Musée Picasso, Musée d’Orsay, and others.
Pro-Tip: Musée d’Orsay is free to enter an hour before closing time.
