The Hyatt Centric Murano Venice is in the Venetian city of Murano, just a ferry ride from central Venice.
Murano is famous for its glassmaking history.

Hyatt Centric Murano Hotel Review
The hotel was formerly a glass factory in the city’s prestigious glass district.
It has 119 rooms, including 31 Duplex Suites and 2 Premium Suites, all decorated with chocolate and beige furnishings, hand-crafted glass lamps, mirrors, etc.
From basic rooms to extra-large suites, they provide the ideal place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing in Venice.
The rooms are large and modern. The bathrooms are relatively spacious and well-appointed, with rainfall showerheads and complimentary toiletries.
The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are air-conditioned – a necessity during brutal summer months.
What We Booked: 2 Twin Beds
The Lagoon is within a stone’s throw away in this 23-square-meter (247 square feet) room, which features twin beds, hardwood floors, and a tea table.
For guests’ convenience, each room has a laptop-sized safe and minibar.
Globalist Upgrade: Duplex Suite
Globalist is the World of Hyatt’s Highest Elite Tier.
It offers numerous perks, including complimentary breakfast, late checkout, waived resort fees, and, if available, suite upgrades.
Of the two rooms we booked, both got upgraded to Duplex Suites. We definitely lucked out.
These two-floor suites, measuring 38 square meters (409 square feet), feature a duplex configuration, making them perfect for cozy couples’ getaways and family vacations.
On the main level, the spacious living area has a sofa that converts into a bed.
The upper mezzanine is accessed via an industrial-style metal staircase, which leads to a king-size bed.
Complimentary Airport Pick-Up & Drop Off Via Water Taxi
Please check with the property directly whether this benefit is still offered to guests, as we have received reports that it is no longer available unless booked as part of a paid stay.
One of the generous perks of this Hyatt property is the free airport shuttle on a water taxi.

- You will be notified about seat availability one week before arrival.
- For return transfers, please refer to the Front Desk upon check-in.

- The shuttle leaves at set times and cannot wait for guests who arrive late.
- Seat availability on the next shuttle is not guaranteed and is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
- In case of lack of availability, technical problems, or adverse weather conditions (e.g., thick fog and strong winds) affecting onboard safety, guests may be asked to use public transport, Alilaguna, in which case the hotel will assume no liability and will offer no refund of the cost of the ticket for the public transportation.
