Fascinating history, astonishing ruins, splendid Golden Gate Bridge views, and the opportunity to touch the mighty Pacific Ocean. And that’s only the tip of the iceberg. San Francisco, the bewitching city by the bay, boasts an alluring topography composed of scenic hills and spectacular seascapes. This walking tour starts at SF’s Embarcadero District, inside the fantastic Ferry Building and close to the Bay Bridge, and ends at the world-famous Fisherman’s Wharf with enchanting views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and its boisterous sea lions. Between our start and end points is an optional heart-pounding detour to a hike up to the top of one of SF’s most sensational hills, Telegraph Hill. Let’s put on our walking shoes on and start moving.
