Some lounges go all out with rest spots and Peloton bikes, but what I love about Capital One lounges is their grab-and-go food options, which are ideal for quick layovers.

Now, let’s talk about Priority Pass, your golden ticket to over 1,300 lounges worldwide.
Holders of the Capital One Venture X need not worry about spending extra bucks to access a peaceful retreat at an airport lounge while traveling.
With this card, you can score a complimentary Priority Pass Select membership, which grants the cardholder and two guests access to all Priority Pass lounges worldwide.
You can also add authorized users for free so they can access Priority Pass lounges. To enjoy this generous benefit, they just need their Venture X card.
Whether you’re at JFK, Heathrow, or Haneda, a little luxury is just a swipe away.

Priority Pass Enrollment Process for Capital One Venture X Cardholders
Step 1: Enrollment Page
Enter your 16-digit Capital One Venture X credit card number and the Captcha-generated code, and then click Submit.
Step 2: Select the Country
USA will be the pre-populated option.
Step 3: Priority Pass Membership Plan
Your membership plan details will be explained, including lounge benefits provided by both Visa and Capital One.
Step 4: Personal Information
Provide your Personal Details, including your name, email, date of birth, and more.
Additionally, you’ll get a preview of how your name will appear on your physical Priority Pass Membership Card.
Step 5: Delivery Address
Make sure the delivery address info is filled out accurately.
This is where they will send your Priority Pass welcome kit and your physical Membership Card.
Step 6: Create Your Priority Pass Account
You will then be prompted to create your Priority Pass username and password, followed by choosing a security question with an answer.
Once done with this step, click continue.
Step 7: Billing
Please fill out the required information, including your billing address details.
Upon reviewing the information provided, check the Membership Declaration Box, then click “Join Priority Pass“.
Step 8: Confirmation
More Priority Pass membership information will be provided.
Once done reviewing, click on “Go to my Account.”
Step 9: Activate Venture X Access
You will be prompted to accept and click OK to enable the feature that will allow you to visit lounges using your Capital One Venture X credit card as a method of entry.
Step 10: Download the Priority Pass App
If you want to access the Priority Pass lounge network with a digital membership card, you can download the Priority Pass app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
The app provides essential details about every Priority Pass lounge available in your area, such as its exact airport location, opening hours, and access rules.
Step 11: Accessing Your Priority Pass Digital Membership Card
Log in to your account using your username and password on the Priority Pass app.
Once you’re in, tap the ‘CARD‘ tab on the banner at the bottom of the home screen to check out your Priority Pass Digital Membership Card/QR code.
You can even add your Digital Membership Card to your Apple Wallet to quickly access it anywhere.
Step 12: Enjoy Your Lounge Benefit
With your Priority Pass Membership, you can access over 1300 lounges worldwide!
Just use your physical Priority Pass Membership Card, Digital Membership Card, or Capital One Venture X credit card to get in.
Step 13: Spread the Wealth by Adding Authorized Users
One standout feature of the Capital One Venture X card is its generous perk of granting the same lounge benefits to up to four authorized users.
Each Venture X authorized user can access lounges and also bring along two extra guests at no additional cost.
Therefore, each primary Venture X cardholder can potentially provide lounge access to up to 15 travelers (see the table below).

Easy Steps to Add Venture X Authorized Users
Option 1: Call
- Call the number on the back of your Capital One Venture X credit card.
- Ask the agent to add an authorized user to your Venture X card (you can add up to 4 authorized users).
- Request that the authorized user cards be mailed to your home address.
- Once you have the physical authorized user credit cards in your possession, enroll your authorized users in Priority Pass.
- Follow the steps outlined in this section, ensuring that the physical Priority Pass card is mailed directly to your authorized users if they do not live with you.
- Don’t forget to tell your authorized users to download the Priority Pass app so they can access their membership ID even before receiving their physical card.
Option 2: App
- On the Capital One App, go to your Venture X card.
- Scroll down to “Account Users“
- Click “Manage Users“
- Click “Add New User“
- Select “Authorized User“
- Fill out the information for your Authorized User.
- Verify that all the information is correct.
- A confirmation email will be sent once the application is approved.
